This one-day workshop introduces career professionals to The Grove's Career Compass—a Visual Planning System that will help you work with clients individually or in groups to creatively organize and manage their career options. The templates in this system guide clients through a step-by-step process that includes assessing their past and present, researching future possibilities, imagining themselves in different careers, and finally creating job search and networking plans to fulfill their self-defined goals.
Experience working through each stage of The Career Compass in a small-group setting. Participants are supported with stories of what has worked for others, ideas for blending The Career Compass into your practice, and rich discussion among other career professionals. The workshop includes individual and small-group hands-on work with activities in The Career Compass, case-example presentations, coaching on how to lead individual and group sessions, and experience sharing by the whole group.
