Otis Spunkmeyer—a leading fresh-baked cookie company—needed to re-energize its organization and agree on a strategic plan for growth following its sale to IAWS, an Irish food services group. We subsequently led the management team in a process of visualizing its history, vision, and strategy on a single Grove Storymap™. This drove company-wide planning following a business-planning process designed by us using key Graphic Guides®. Each function determined its priorities for the upcoming three years, and reported on them in a company-wide alignment meeting in which the filled-in Graphic Guides were key components.

The process was repeated the following year, with internal managers taking over leadership of the sessions from our consultants. We supported the shift with executive coaching, custom templates, strategic communications and facilitation of specific groups in need of additional support.

“When I saw how The Grove worked, I knew they were right for us. They are productive, creative, and lots of fun. We’ve got everyone on the same page now in regard to our vision and strategy.”
